My mother moved to the u.s. from Germany in 1962.Shortly after, she met my father .Central Florida has always been home for me and my three older brothers. I seemed to have been the only one in my family with a passion for art. Although my mother seems to have an artists touch also. It seems I have always had a passion for art but it wasn't until high school where I was able to enroll in serious art classes and explore the field even more. My teachers were always going the extra mile to make their students excel. After high school I had numerous art scholarships for colleges out of state. However, I decided to stay close to home while I earned a commercial art degree. College helped me develop realism in my art and learn my technique. My basic technique is colored pencils and acrylics applied with airbrush. Most of my work usually consists of portraitures and pinups though I can pretty much capture any subject matter. All of this is usually done on cold press illustration board. Though jobs have come and gone, my heart has always led me to the art field, that is where I feel most comfortable.
